  2. Welcome to the Atomic Archive CD-ROM. Please read this document as it
  3. contains the lastest information on installation and running tips that
  4. will greatly enhance your enjoyment of this new CD-ROM title.

  7. About this CD-ROM
  8.  
  9. Atomic Archive is a hybrid CD that works on both the Macintosh and
  10. IBM-compatible platforms. It requires QuickTime 3.0 or later. This
  11. software is also included on the CD-ROM.
  12.  
  13.  
  14. Minimum System Requirements - Windows 95/98/NT
  15.  
  16. System requirements for Atomic Archive are:
  17. o Windows 95/98/NT
  18. o Pentium 166Mhz MMX or better
  19. o 16MB RAM
  20. o Quad-speed CD-ROM drive
  21. o SVGA display
  22. o High color or better
  23. o SoundBlaster-16 compatible card
  24. o QuickTime 3.0 or later (included)

  27. Installation on the PC
  28.  
  29. To install Atomic Archive on your Windows computer, first run the
  30. SETUP.EXE program, located in the Setup directory. This will install the
  31. program on your hard drive and create a shortcut in your Start menu
  32. called Atomic Archive. Atomic Archive requires QuickTime 3.0 or later to
  33. be installed to run properly. If QuickTime is not installed, you will
  34. also need to run the QuickTime for Windows installer. After QuickTime has
  35. been installed, you will be asked to restart your computer. The QuickTime
  36. installer is located in the folder named "QTW" and is named
  37. QuickTime30.exe. For additional information on QuickTime for Windows
  38. refer to the README.TXT document in the QuickTime for Windows program.

  43. We recommend turning off all screen savers while running Atomic Archive,
  44. and quitting all other programs you may have running to free up as much
  45. memory and CPU resources as possible.
